Stories Got a Complete Overhaul

The whole Story-making experience got rebuilt from the ground up. Opening the composer now drops you straight into picking your photo or video — no detours — with a real Post button sitting right where you'd expect it, not hidden three menus deep. Want to add a caption or style some text? That's one tap away, not cluttering the screen when you don't need it.

Started a Story and got pulled away? It's not gone. Rated now autosaves your draft as you go — captions, overlays, your music choice, all of it — and the next time you open the composer, a "Resume draft" chip is waiting for you.

Speaking of music: the track library just doubled to eight royalty-free songs across different moods, with search, tap-to-preview, and one-tap adding that automatically trims to the best 15 seconds. Want more control? The full waveform trimmer is right there under Adjust.

And watching Stories feels tighter too — slimmer progress bars, a cleaner header, press-and-hold to pause and fade the interface away entirely, plus arrow-key navigation if you're on desktop.

Position Badges Are Now Real Credentials

Position Badges — the marks for verified real-world roles like Miss Uganda, Ministers, and Ambassadors — just became a lot more than an icon.

They now render in three contrast variants (black, white, red), so your badge always looks right whether you're on a light background, dark mode, or a highlighted spot on a card — it swaps automatically. Tap any Position Badge now and you get a real explainer card: a large rendering of the badge, the full title, category, organization, and a description of what that badge actually means — not just a name and a checkmark.

Those badges now also travel with you: when a Take or Article gets shared, the author's Position Badge shows right on the share card next to their name, matching whatever style the card is using. And applicants can now describe their role in their own words when applying — admins see exactly how the person describes their own position during review.

Your Tier Now Buys You Room

This is the one worth sitting with: Take length now scales with your Rate Score tier.

Rookie gets 500 characters. Rising gets 750. It keeps climbing through Notable, Buzzing, Trending, Featured, Influential, Elite, and Icon — all the way up to 5,000 characters at Legend. Your composer shows your personal limit live as you type, so you always know exactly how much room you've earned.

Rate Score was never just a number for bragging rights. Now it's real, tangible space to actually say more.

Reactions Are Everywhere Now

Emoji pickers landed across the board — replies, Takes, DMs, group chats, and Story replies all get real emoji reactions now, and comments can carry stickers too. On Quotes specifically, you'll now see a total reaction count next to the pills; tap it and a full panel opens showing all six reactions with live counts, so you can see exactly how a post is landing, not just that people liked it.

Groups Got Serious

Group chats now have an actual group-info panel — members organized by role, searchable, with admins able to search and add several people at once. Owners can transfer ownership or delete the group outright. And groups can now generate shareable invite links (24 hours, 7 days, or no expiry, all revocable anytime) that open a clean public join screen for anyone you send it to.

Business Accounts, Simplified

Running a Business account on Rated just got lighter. There's no more separate business login or standalone page to manage — your Business presence now lives as a mode on your own personal account, with staff roster management folded into Business settings and affiliations linking straight back to the owner's profile.

Behind the Scenes

None of this is visible to you directly, but it's worth knowing: our own admin tools got a serious upgrade too — a real command center with live growth and engagement analytics, activity monitoring, and shared team tooling.
