What’s New on Rated: Account Deletion, Permanent Post Removal, and a Sharper Studio

Over the past week we’ve shipped a set of changes that put more control in your hands and make the platform cleaner for everyone.

You can now delete your account permanently We’ve added a full account deletion flow in Settings → Account → Danger zone. Type your username to confirm, and the deletion is immediate and total: your profile, posts, messages, stories, takes, comments, likes, reposts, and login are removed from the system. No 30-day grace period, no lingering data.

Authors and admins can permanently delete posts “Unpublish” is no longer the only option. If you created a post, or if you’re an admin, you can now permanently delete it from the post viewer, studio, and review queue. The deletion removes the post, its media files, and all associated engagement (likes, comments, reposts).

Studio updates Added delete controls for creations in the studio. Added delete actions in the article review queue for admins. The post viewer now shows deletion options for authors and admins directly in the top bar. Font and accessibility refinements Montserrat is now the global display/heading typeface. The accessibility hub continues to expand: font-size and line-height controls, motion reduction, softer borders, and autoplay gating. Previously shipped Recent weeks also brought:
